The Crossings Riesling

The Crossings Riesling

The Crossings Riesling delights with flavours of summer stone fruit, wild flowers and orange zest. The palate is finely balanced, finishing with a burst of acidity that has become the hallmark of wines from Marlborough’s Awatere Valley.

Enjoy with: Blue cheese, freshly hulled walnuts and crisp slices of green pear.

Elegant and luxurious scent of flower perfume, lime, grape, some soap and green plums.  The taste is fresh with nice acidity and sweet mixture.  Complex and balanced, with an elegant finish.  Match with salads, olives, boiled and grilled vegetables, and blue cheese.

Floral, perfumed and with a superb definition of lime fruit.  Really steely and nervy, despite (the very welcome) slight residual sugar.  Richard Hemmings, Wine Writer UK, December 2012
