The Wine

Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is The Crossings’ flagship varietal, made from a blend of selected parcels from our vineyards. The wine presents powerful aromas of passionfruit on the nose, combined with a complex palate where melon and stone fruit flavours are underpinned by a racy acidity and the classic flinty, mineral undertones of Awatere Sauvignon Blanc

Chardonnay
Chardonnay

A single vineyard wine from our Medway River Vineyard. No oak was used, to allow the pure fruit characters of the wine to shine through. A bouquet of white peaches fused with citrus notes, with ripe stone fruit and tropical notes on the palate, with a long crisp citrus finish

Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is naturally suited to the soils and climate of The Crossings’ higher altitude upper valley vineyards from which the grapes are sourced. This wine was matured in French barrique and presents lifted aromas of cherries, underpinned by savoury notes. Cherry and berry fruits on the palate knit together with subtle oak and fine tannins to produce a wine with great finesse.
